This 28’ 1973 Bertram is a fully updated performance fishing boat. It is perfect for a stylish evening cruise or a rugged all day fishing adventure. The boat was repowered in 1999 with twin ford 351 block mercrusier gas engines. The engines currently have approx 700 hours and have been run in fresh water ever since. The electronics were updated in 2010 and are state of the art. The current electronics are listed below: -Furuno NavNet 3D 8.4” Multifunction Display -Furuno Radar with 24 n.m. range (DRS2D) -Furuno Depth and Fishfinder -Simrad Autopilot with three control stations throughout the boat -Fish Hawk X4 System (transducer, probe, and display screen) The electronics alone are valued over $10,000. The boat also comes updated with oversized rudders, perfect for docking and trolling at slow speeds. The props have been updated to gain five mph on the top end and loose one mph on the low end, ideal for trolling. The boat trolls on 1 engine at around 2.5 knots, has a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top end speed of around 26 knots. Other notable updates include an aluminum radar arch with rod holders and spreader lamps as well as a fully enclosed canvas system for the flybridge and part of fishing platform. This boat has a current US Coast Guard approved License to Charter Fish.
